John Legend Finishing Up Album

Singer John Legend is finishing up his upcoming album titled "Evolver" which will be ready for release on October 28th. The first single from the album "Green Light" featuring Andre 3000 was released earlier this month. John Legend hasn't released an studio album in almost two years so hopefully he'll be bringing some fresh new music with a different vibe to the ears of his fans.

T.I.'s Album Pushed Back Three Weeks

T.I.'s new album "Paper Trail" will has been pushed back again. This is the fourth time the release date has been changed. Previously the album was set to be release Aug. 12th then moved to Sept. 2 and back further to Sept. 9. It is now scheduled to be released September 30th. T.I. released a statement to billboard.com saying, "There was a great demand for the product, Once we put out 'No Matter What,' we got so much positive response that we moved up the date." T.I.'s publicist has also said that they are not quite ready yet. The video for the single "Whatever You Like," is being shot today.

DMX Back In Jail

Rapper DMX(Earl Simmons) has been arrested today at a mall in Phoenix(again) this time for taking the identity of someone else. He was taken to Maricopa County Jail. Details of the charges have not yet been released. DMX was also arrested at the Phoenix airport earlier this month for warrants and failing to appear in court.

DMX is arrested every damn week! I just don't understand why the law continues to play with him. He obviously does not take them serious and he has repeatedly showed it by continuing to break the law.

Faith Evans Tells Life Story

Faith Evans will release a book titled "Keep The Faith" , which will mainly surround different events that occurred throughout her personal life. Evans will tell how her life was with Biggie, Tupac and the controversy that surrounded them.

Evans says, “B.I.G. never got a chance to tell his story. It’s been left to others to tell it for him. In making the decision to tell my own story, it means that I’ve become one of those who can give insight to who B.I.G. really was. But I can only speak of what he meant to me."

Everyone is releasing a book these days but I think it would be good to here from Faith Evans telling things from her point-of-view when it came to life with Biggie. I've heard everyone's side of the story but not hers. The book will be released in stores August 29th.

Natalie Cole Has Hepatitis C

Singer Natalie Cole 58, has been diagnosed with hepatitis C. Doctors found the disease in Cole during a routine examination. She likely developed the disease when using drugs years ago. In a statement by Cole she says, "I've been so fortunate to have learned so much from my past experiences," said Cole. "I am embraced by the love and support of my family and friends; I am committed to my belief in myself and in my abiding faith to meet this challenge with a heartfelt optimism and determination. This is how I intend to deal with this current challenge in my life."

Well I guess that is the price you pay when using drugs, nevertheless I wish her the best and hopefully her health starts to improve.

Rick Ross Who Cares!

Hip Hop artist Rick Ross claims to have been photoshopped by hackers. He states that they accused him of being a correctional officer by taking a picture of him while he was in high school and placing it on the body of someone else.

In a statement made by Rick Ross he says, "My life is 100% real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body. If this s**t was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? I'm in the entertainment business and a lot of people who like to hate because I'm on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100% real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake."

Whether it's really him or not, what does it matter. So you may have worked a 9 to 5 job, so what! Maybe they should have taken a picture of him now and photoshopped that beard from around his face because I think that just looks nasty!

What's Up With Rocsi And Terrance J From 106 And Park?

Well this past Friday Terrance seem to have JOKES! He was clowning Rocsi pretty hard. She actually walked off stage towards the end of the show. He first says she doesn't know who to read and then that her breath was bad, then he later asked her why she didn't have a body like Ciara.

I actually seen the rerun of the show today and I sensed a little tension between Terrance and Rocsi. I think Terrance was out of line. If they were having a personal dispute between the two of them they should have left it away from work. The audience were looking like "what the hell is going on with them!?" LOL....Craziness!!

Keyshia Coles is seriously rockin' the music charts right now and no one can dethrone her not even Lil Wayne who sold a million copies of his newest album can knock her! Keyshia's single "Heaven Sent" still remains to be the #1 R&B/Hip Hop song in the country for the fourth week, with Lil Wayne's "A Milli" following in debuting at #2. Her previous single "I remember" also debuted in at #1 this year.

I must say I don't think that Keyshia Coles gets a lot of the respect that she deserves. She's an very talented artist and deserves more recognition. I want to see one of her singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and I'm talking top 10!

Ricky Martin[Throwback Artist Of The Month]

Ricky Martin clenches the title of this month's throwback artist. Some people may say how can he be a "throwback" artist he's still around? Well I live in the States and over here we haven't really heard from this guy in years. Martin is a pop/latin singer who is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and later moved to New York. He was a member of the group Latin Boy Band Menudo back in the early 90s. Martin later left the group to pursue a solo career and released his first album in 1991. Martin's biggest hit single "Livin' The Vida Loca" was one of the biggest reasons for the success of his 1999 album which sold 17 million copies worldwide. Of course the success sooner or later had to come to a halt(well for him it did). He released a follow-up album in 2000 titled "Sound Loaded" which didn't do as well and barely made it on the charts. Martin didn't stop there he went on the release 5 more albums but none of course were as successful as his 1999 album "Ricky Martin" and he has yet to release a hit single as big as "Livin' The Vida Loca".

He is still very active in latin music but hasn't had a hit in the U.S. in years, but he has been touring(Latin America) and actually released an unplugged album last year.

Travis McCoy Arrested For Striking Crowd Member With Microphone

Travis McCoy lead singer of Gym Class Heroes was arrested on Tuesday and charged with third degree assault after hitting a crowd member that made a racist comment in the head with his microphone. He was released from jail on Wednesday. The incident occurred in Missouri, which was a tour stop for Gym Class Heroes when a crowd member(of the same race as Travis) yelled out "f***ing ignorant n***er" during the show.

Security tried to remove the guy but then Travis decided to hit his ass in the head with the microphone a few times, which you can't too much blame him for his reaction. People these days will take you there! Kudos to Travis.

Travis' statement: "I'm sorry but when someone calls you something that ignorant and that offensive, you have to bash their head in with a microphone."

Miley Cyrus[Artist Of The Month]

Artist of the month goes to Miley Cyrus aka Disney actor Hannah Montana! Why did I pick her? Well I just wanted to catch her while she's hot because that's one thing she definitely is right now. Miley is an actor and singer, not to mention her father is Mr. "Achy Breaky Heart" country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. She's only 15 and she already has lots of accomplishments and pushing full speed ahead to reach many more.

It's no need for me to make an entire post about Miley because she's everywhere! She's out doing tours, all over the disney channel and websites, your local retail stores probably have a whole entire section of Hannah Montana merchandise for the kids. She is also on the cover of Billboard magazine for this month. Last but not least not to forget her album "Breakout" drops this month on July 22, I know the kids will be running to the stores to grab it!
