Eartha Kitt Dies

Singer,actress and dancer Eartha Kitt has died at the age of 81. Kitt died of colon cancer, which was detected about two years ago. Throughout her career she recieved two Emmy's and a Grammy award. "C'est Si Bon," "Let's Do It" "Santa Baby" and "Just an Old Fashioned Girl" were some of her biggest hits.

Despite this sad news, Merry Christmas to everyone! R.I.P Eartha Kitt.

So It's Like That Now Mary J and Jay-Z?

Well it seems like Mary J Blige and Jay-Z are in the hot seat for stealing a beat. Jermaine Jumpp and Michael C. Adams have accused them of taking the beat for Mary J's hit single "Enough Cryin". They have now filed a lawsuit against Mary J and Jay-Z. Jumpp and Adams claimed that they gave Rodney "Darkchild" Jenkins who was the producer on Blige's album "The Breakthrough" a disk titled "On My Grind" back in 2001 which later appeared on The Breakthrough as "Enough Cryin". What does Jay-Z have to do with all this? He was a co writer on the song, so yes his ass is getting sued too!

Aretha Franklin Will Sing At Presidental Inauguration

Legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin will have the honor of singing at president elect Barack Obama's inauguration on Jan. 20th. She has performed before for former president Bill Clinton in 1993 but this will be her first time performing at a inauguration. Over 4 million people are expected to attend.

Whitney Houston Sued!

For some reason every time Whitney Houston is in the news it's never really about anything positive. Multiple sources report that her father had a 1 million dollar insurance policy which Houston's step mother (Barbara Houston) says that she improperly kept. Houston was suppose to take 723,000 of the money from the insurance policy and pay off her father's mortgage on his Fort Lee Condominium. Whitney has not returned the remainder of the money to her stepmother which she is now being sued for.

Well what can I say the typical life of Whitney Houston.

Madonna Will Pay Up In Divorce Settlement

When I say Madonna has to pay up I mean she has to pay up 76 Million in divorce settlement to husband Guy Richie! According the the Associated Press the figure includes their 1,100 acre Ashcombe House in England. Plans for the couples children Rocco(8) and adopted son David Banda(3) have not yet been decided yet. The divorce was finalized last month. Richie is entitled up to 50% of earnings during his 8 year marriage with Madonna. The couple joint together are worth more than 525 million.

Wow 76 MILLION! What a way to go out for Guy Richie.

Charges Dropped Against Soulja Girl

A few months ago the video of Soulja Girl on the Atlanta Marta train taunting a 65 year old women was circulating all over the internet. The video was just filled with craziness! From her bothering the older lady to getting in a physical confrontation with another passenger. The whole situation was just ridiculous and uncalled for. The latest news currently is that all charges have been dropped agains Soulja Girl who's real name is Nafiza Ziyad who is bipolar and may have been having one of her "episodes" that day on the train. Well I definitely hope that she gets the help that she so desperately needs. I have included the video of the entire event below just in case you've never seen it.

It seems like Kelly Rowland is thinking about kicking manager Matthew Knowles to the curb for American Idol producer Simon Fuller! Unlike in the U.S. in Europe Kelly is a huge star. She topped the charts in Europe with her last album titled "Ms Kelly" and the re release "Ms Kelly Deluxe" also went straight to the top. Simon Fuller is the current manager of artists such as the Spice Girls, Carrie Underwood, Victoria Beckham and David. It is said that the change may take place at the beginning of next year.

I am so proud of Kelly. It's about damn time! Her last album was amazing and everyone slept on it, great album! No disrespect to Beyonce because she's an amazing artist but Kelly has been stuck in the shadow of Beyonce her entire career. Kelly is beautiful, talented and has the same potential but she is completely overlooked. Oh please let's not forget her album being pushed back for the release of Beyonce's album B-Day! In my opinion breaking away from Matthew Knowles is the best decision to make as far as her career is concerned. I've never liked Matthew Knowles every since back in the day when Latoya and Latavia were kicked out of the group and he tried to cover the shit up saying they left on their own. At the end of the day under the Knowles management it's all about Beyonce. Now Kelly really has a chance to spread her wings and show the world what she really has to offer, good for her.

Hudson Murders Seem Too Suspicious

In recent news William Balfour who is married to Jennifer Hudson's sister(Juila Hudson) has been charged for the murders of Hudson's mother, brother and nephew. According to the Associated Press Balfour has a very troubling past. He is said to be a high school drop out and has been arrested for possession of marijuana many times in the past dating way back to 1996. He married Juila Hudson back in December of 2006 and the marriage has went down hill since then.

I have been following this on going story every since it started and something just doesn't seem right to me. I honestly believe that Balfour was not the one who did the killings and if by any chance he was involved he definitely had some help. The whole situation is just was too suspicious and Jennifer's sister Juila she seems a bit suspicious also. Sooner or later the truth will come out because I think someone knows more than what they are telling the police and investigators.

R&B singer Solange Knowles is talking adoption and finding a new man. Solange already has a son Daniel Jr. With ex husband Daniel Smith which she divorced in October 2007. In a statement from Solange she says, "If there are two people devoted to nourishing and growing and developing their love for a child that is a beautiful thing. Kelly grew up with me since I was about five years old, so she is my sister. She didn't come from my parents, but there is nothing I feel differently for her than my sister. I have definitely explored that option. But I've got to find a man first!"

Solange has also stated that she would even like to have more children of her own.

The original title of the dance is said to be called "Down The Way" It is also said that the dance has been really big in Cincinnati for quite a few years now.

Suge Knight Blames The Police And Kanye West For His Problems!

Suge Knight founder of Death Row Records is pointing the finger at everyone these days when it comes to the problems in his life. According to TMZ he filed a suit against Kanye West claiming that he is responsible for the shooting at a party in Miami back in 2005 and the lost of his 135,000 earring. In recent news he is now blaming Bartsow police for losing his earrings after being transfered from different detention centers in 2005. Knight is also facing assault charges for beating a women in a parking lot in Las Vegas.

How ironic Suge Knight whining about losing his earrings while he was locked up. He acts like the process of going to jail is new to him, as if he so special he can't lose a earring. He really needs to get over it!

Goodbye Neverland!

Yes I am referring to "the" Neverland ranch owned by Micheal Jackson. According to the Associated Press Jackson owes 24.5 million on the property and have fallen into default, even facing foreclosure before being bailed out by Colony Capital. Jackson has been struggling to keep the ranch going since 2003.
Just a little history about the ranch, it was originally called Sycamore Valley Ranch from the beginning but Jackson changed the name to "Neverland" and of course the kids loved it.

Neverland was also the center of the molestation case that Micheal Jackson battled through a few years ago, I'm quite sure everyone knows the story no need to remind you!

Oh well goodbye to Neverland, maybe it's a good thing?

Jennifer Hudson's Mother and Brother Killed

Jennifer Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson(57) and brother Jason(29) were shot and killed today in their home. According to MTV news, officers received a call shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, and upon arriving at the residence, 7019 South Yale Avenue, found the two victims. The incident has been declared a double homicide; police emphasized that this may be a domestic situation. Neighbors heard gun shots around 8-9 am Friday morning.

As of this moment Jennifer Hudson's nephew Julian King is missing and they think he may be with the suspect(William Balfour). Balfour has been living at the Hudson residence and he could be driving a white Chevrolet Suburban, license plate X584859, or a green Chrysler Concord, license plate 332K823.

Jennifer Hudson was not at the residence at the time of the shooting. She is said to be traveling to Chicago from Tampa Florida.

This is such an shocking tragedy! So much information is still coming in this recently developing story, I will be updating soon. My heart goes out to the Hudson Family.

Jennifer Hudson offered up to 100,000 dollars for the return of her nephew unfortunately he was found the next day dead from multiple gunshot wounds. This story is so heart breaking. It's just crazy how people in this world can be so cruel.

Britney Spears Will Set The Record Straight In Documentary

Pop singer Britney Spears will tell it all in a 90 minute documentary that will air November 30th on MTV. In the documentary she talks about her high-profile meltdown, her divorce with ex husband Kevin Federline, losing custody of her two sons and shaving her head.

"I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed," she said.

I think Britney has matured a lot and has came a long way. She seems to be moving in the right direction and that's good for her.

Her new album titled "Circus" is set to be released in December 2nd which happens to be her 27th birthday.

Russell Simmons is preparing to launch a new line of menswear especially targeting men 25 and older. The new line was introduced on Friday at the Argyle Culture Fashion Show in South Beach, FL. In a statement made by Russell he says, "I want to create a line to reach out to those guys who are not young men anymore but who want to still be part of that urban lifestyle,". According to the Associated Press the male models donned sporty suits, pinstriped shorts and argyle V-neck sweaters, combining urban aesthetics with traditionally professional and preppy attire during the show.

Russell Simmons also turned 51 today, so he has a lot to celebrate! Can't wait to see the new line. It will be interesting to see just how different it will be from Phat Farm.

Rapper Romeo(19) attends University Of Southern California college where he plays point guard for the Trojan's basketball team. With only being 5 weeks into the semester he is already having his share problems! He has gotten 3 bikes stolen since the start of the semester. He says, "Now I just have a little $5 bike that hopefully no one will want.” As for jewelry, “I don’t bring anything expensive to the dorms,” he says. “I just sleep with my earrings on."

Rapper Busta Rhymes is no longer apart of Interscope and has now joined with Universal Motown. His new album titled "B.O.M.B." will be in stores December 9. Busta Rhymes told Hot 97 "Me and Dr. Dre are still good, even though I'm not in business with Aftermath or Interscope."

Travis Barker & DJ AM Critically Injured In Plane Crash

Travis Barker and DJ AM(Adam Goldstein) were critically injured in a deadly plane crash that claimed the lives of four people in Columbia, SC on Friday. Barker and AM are being treated for serious burns but in stable condition. Those who lost their lives were pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim, Calif.; her copilot, James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; Barker's assistant, Chris "Little Chris" Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif. and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles, Calif.

Barker and AM were in Columbia for a free T Mobile concert. This is a very tragic event that actually happened right in my hometown. I got word of this news early part of this morning, when details weren't very specific. I was hoping more survived but unfortunately not. The concert went very well with a huge turn out, but just a very tragic ending. There will be a candlelight vigil for the victims in Columbia at 6pm tonight.

50 Cent Vs Kanye West Again?

Yes, they are set to battle it out again. 50 and Kanye have albums dropping in December with only a week in between the release dates. 50 Cent's album "Before I Self Destruct" will drop Dec. 9, while Kanye's album "808's and Heartbreak" will hit stores Dec. 16th. 50 recently made a few sarcastic comments about Kanye's new single "Love Lockdown". In a statement in Kanye's blog he wrote, "I guarantee this will be 50's favorite album of mine. "This will be gangster's album of the year."

Well the last time these two released their albums around the same date 50 Cent talked the most trash and lost to Kanye in album sales. Will that be the case this time? We shall see!
