Goodie Mob[Throwback Artists Of The Month]

Throwback artist of the month goes to hip hop group Goodie Mob! The group started up in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. The group consist of members Khujo, Cee-Lo, T-Mo Goodie and Big Gipp. They made their first appearance on Outkast's first album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Goodie Mob's first album was released in 1995 titled "Soul Food" which later became a certified gold album. Upon releasing their 3rd album the group signed to Arista Records. Cee-Lo later left the group to go solo. The album flopped and they were dropped from Arista for poor album sales. The fourth album was released in 2004 titled "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show". It seems like they may have been very well referring to their former group member Cee-Lo with that title! Group member Big Gripp soon left the group, but he later returned. The last album "Livin' Life As Lumberjacks" was released in 2005. The group was set to have a reunion last year. Goodie Mob and the rest of the
Dungeon Family
played a big part in paving the way for all the hot artists you see coming out of Atlanta today.
